Order import
SKUvio brings your Etsy orders into Shopify so you can manage everything from one place — no copying orders by hand, no switching between tabs to see what’s sold.
Orders arrive automatically
New Etsy orders are imported into Shopify automatically, with no action needed from you. Two mechanisms work together so nothing slips through:
- Real-time notifications — the moment an order is paid on Etsy, SKUvio is notified and imports it right away.
- A 10-minute poller — as a safety net, SKUvio also checks Etsy for new orders every 10 minutes, so even if a real-time notification is ever missed, the order is picked up shortly after.
What comes across
Each imported order arrives in Shopify complete, including:
- Buyer details — name and contact information.
- Line items — the products ordered, with variations and quantities.
- Shipping — the delivery address and any buyer message.
This gives you a full Shopify order ready to fulfil, whether you ship through Shopify or Etsy.
No duplicates
SKUvio keeps track of what it has already imported, so orders that are already in Shopify are skipped. You can safely trigger an import as often as you like — from Step 4 on the Sync Controls page — without creating duplicates.
Refreshing an order
If a buyer updates their details on Etsy after ordering — say they add a phone number through Etsy messages — you can refresh that order from Etsy to pull the latest information into Shopify. SKUvio re-fetches the order and updates the contact details, keeping your Shopify record current for fulfilment and shipping.
