Installing SKUvio

SKUvio installs as an embedded Shopify app — it runs right inside your Shopify admin, and you sign in with your Shopify session. There’s no separate password to create and no keys to copy.

Install the app

  1. Add SKUvio to your store from the Shopify App Store (or your install link).
  2. Approve the requested permissions — SKUvio needs access to your products, inventory, and orders to keep them in sync.
  3. SKUvio opens inside your Shopify admin. That’s it — you’re signed in.

Because SKUvio is embedded, it uses Shopify’s own secure session to authenticate you. You’ll never be asked for a separate SKUvio username or password.

What SKUvio can see

SKUvio requests only what it needs to sync:

  • Products & variants — to build and update your Etsy listings and map SKUs.
  • Inventory — to keep stock levels honest across Shopify and Etsy.
  • Orders — to pull Etsy orders into Shopify.

Your buyers’ personal data is handled with care: it’s never sent to the AI that writes your tags and translations, and access tokens are encrypted at rest. See GDPR & your data for the full picture.

Next step

With SKUvio installed, the next thing to do is connect your Etsy shop.
