AI SEO tags
Tags are how buyers find you on Etsy, and getting all 13 right — in every language you sell in — is slow, fiddly work. SKUvio writes them for you: up to 13 Etsy-optimised tags per listing, per language, using the phrases real shoppers in each market actually search for.
Native tags for each market
SKUvio doesn’t translate one set of tags into other languages. It generates tags natively for each market, so each language gets the search terms buyers there really type — not a literal rendering of your primary-language keywords.
That means:
- German tags read like German buyers search, with umlauts and accents preserved (
ä,ö,ü,ß), so they match real queries. - Dutch and English tags each get their own market-appropriate phrasing.
- Every language gets its full set of up to 13 tags, the maximum Etsy allows.
The tags are written from your product’s title, description, and Shopify tags — real, relevant buyer search phrases, not filler.
Generated automatically
Whenever a listing has no tag override for a language, SKUvio generates the tags for you as part of the export. You don’t have to do anything — configure the product, export, and each language gets its tags.
Every tag is also cleaned to Etsy’s rules automatically (allowed characters only, trimmed to length at a word boundary), so what SKUvio sends always passes Etsy’s checks.
Fully overridable
Prefer to set your own? Enter your tags in the Configure modal and your list takes over — SKUvio won’t generate tags where you’ve provided an override. You can override one language and let the AI handle the rest, or take full manual control. See Tags & materials.
Overrides are a good fit when you have proven keywords for your shop or want the exact same tags across a set of similar listings.
Only your listing content
As with all of SKUvio’s AI, tag generation only reads your listing content — title, description, and existing tags. It never sees buyer or customer data.
Allowances
Tag generation counts toward your plan’s monthly AI allowance, shown in the app. For the limits per plan and pricing beyond them, see AI allowances & metering.
