Uninstalling SKUvio
You can remove SKUvio at any time from your Shopify admin, the same way you’d uninstall any app. There’s no cancellation process to go through and nothing you need to unwind first. Here’s exactly what happens when you do.
Your Etsy listings stay put
Uninstalling SKUvio does not touch your Etsy listings. Every listing stays live and unchanged on Etsy — SKUvio simply stops syncing between Shopify and Etsy. Your shop keeps running exactly as it was; the two storefronts just no longer talk to each other automatically. Nothing is deleted, delisted, or rewritten on your behalf.
Syncing stops
Once uninstalled, SKUvio no longer:
- Syncs inventory — stock changes in Shopify stop flowing to Etsy, and vice versa.
- Imports orders — new Etsy orders no longer appear in Shopify.
- Sends email notifications — daily summaries and low-stock alerts stop.
From that point on, each store carries on independently until you reinstall. Because your listings are untouched, the only real change you’ll notice is that the two storefronts are no longer kept in step.
Billing
Removing the app ends your SKUvio subscription through Shopify’s billing — because everything runs through Shopify, there’s no separate subscription to cancel elsewhere and nothing further to pay. See Plans & billing for how billing works.
Your data
On uninstall, SKUvio’s access to your store is revoked immediately. If you’d like your data fully deleted as well, request it through Shopify’s standard data-erasure process or contact [email protected] — see GDPR & your data for what that covers.
Changed your mind?
Reinstalling later lets you reconnect your Etsy shop and pick up where you left off. Your Shopify catalogue is still the source of truth, so once you reconnect and map SKUs again, SKUvio can resume syncing your live listings.
