Email notifications

SKUvio keeps you informed by email so you don’t have to sit watching the dashboard. There are three kinds of email, each sent from a recognisable SKUvio address you can reply to.

The three emails

  • New-order email — sent when a new Etsy order is imported, whether the order was picked up automatically or by a manual import. It includes the order number, buyer name, order total, and the line items, plus a link straight into the app. This is your real-time “you’ve made a sale” notification.
  • Low-stock alert — sent when a variant runs low on stock, so you can reorder before you sell out. It’s deduplicated to fire once per dip and re-arm when you restock. See Low-stock alerts for the full behaviour.
  • Daily summary — an optional once-a-day digest rolling up the day’s sync activity together with a count of items currently low on stock. It’s a calm overview rather than a live ping.

Who receives them

Notifications are sent to a recipient address you set per shop. If you run more than one shop in SKUvio, each can point its emails wherever suits — for example a shared inbox for one and your own address for another. Set the recipient in your settings inside the app.

Sender and reply-to

All SKUvio emails come from [email protected], so they’re easy to recognise and to filter in your inbox. If you reply, your message goes to [email protected], where the SKUvio team can help — so hitting reply on any notification is a valid way to reach us. Adding [email protected] to your contacts helps keep alerts out of spam.

Turning the daily summary on or off

The daily summary is opt-in per shop — you switch it on (or back off) from your settings inside SKUvio. The new-order and low-stock emails are your core operational alerts and are the ones you’ll rely on day to day. If your emails ever stop arriving, check your spam folder first and confirm the recipient address in settings is correct.
